브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 4·7 재보궐 선거가 7일 오전 6시 전국 21곳에서 일제히 시작됐다.
중앙선거관리위원회에 따르면 본투표가 개시된 이날 지역 투표소 3459곳에서 오후 8시까지 투표가 진행된다.
이날 오전 9시 현재 전국 평균 투표율은 6.2%를 기록 중이다. 오전 6시부터 시작해 오전 9시 기준 75만9690명이 투표해 총 6.2%의 투표율을 기록했다.
재보선 대상은 광역단체장(서울·부산시장) 2곳, 기초단체장(울산 남구청장, 경남 의령군수) 2곳, 광역의원 8곳(경기도의원·충북도의원 등), 기초의원 9곳(전남 보성군의원, 경남 함안군의원 등)이다.
전체 유권자 수는 서울 842만5869명, 부산 293만6301명 등 총 1216만1624명에 달한다.
가장 눈길이 쏠리고 있는 서울시장 선거의 경우 평균 투표율 6.6%, 부산시장 선거는 5.7%를 기록 중이다.
사전투표분은 거소(우편)투표분과 함께 오후 1시부터 반영된다. 앞서 지난 2~3일 이틀간 진행된 사전투표에는 249만7959명이 참여해 20.54%의 투표율을 기록, 지난 2018년 지방선거 당시 20.14%보다도 높은 수치를 보였다.
