브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 문재인 대통령이 3박5일의 미국 공식 실무 방문 일정을 모두 마치고 23일 귀국했다.
문재인 대통령은 귀국 직전 방미 일정에 대해 "최고의 순방이었고 최고의 회담이었습니다"라고 한마디로 총평했다.
문 대통령은 이번 방미 기간 이뤄진 조 바이든 미국 대통령과의 한미 정상회담을 통해 안보와 경제, 방역 등 여러 분야에서 의미 있는 성과를 거뒀다.
특히 백신과 반도체 협력을 중심으로 기존 군사적 성격이 강했던 한미동맹을 포괄적 경제동맹으로 확장시키며 기대 이상의 성적을 거뒀다는 평가가 뒤따른다.

먼저 문재인 대통령은 한미 백신공조 강화를 위해 외교력을 끌어올렸다. 이 결과, '백신 글로벌 포괄적 파트너십' 체결을 통해 코로나19 백신의 공급을 확대키로 한 것은 주목할 만한 점이다.

또한 이번 순방에서 양국은 반도체, 전기차 배터리, 바이오의약품, 차세대이동통신(6G) 등 첨단 제조업 분야 협력을 강화키로 했다.
