브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 국민권익위원회가 더불어민주당 소속 의원들의 부동산 거래 내역 등을 조사한 결과, 12명에게서 법 위반 의혹을 찾아냈다.
이에 권익위는 사실 확인을 위한 사안들을 정리해 정부 합동 특별수사본부(합수본)에 넘길 예정이다.
8일 경찰 등에 따르면 권익위 부동산 거래 특별조사단은 부동산 거래·보유 과정에서 법령 위반 의혹이나 소지가 있는 국회의원 및 그 가족 총 12명과 16건을 확인, 관련 조사 내용을 합수본에 송부한다고 지난 7일 밝혔다.
이번 조사는 지난 3월 더불어민주당 의뢰로 시작됐는데, 개인정보 제공에 동의한 더불어민주당 국회의원 174명과 배우자 등 가족 816명이 대상이다.
조사단은 지난 7년간 부동산 거래 내역을 토대로 투기 등 법령 위반 여부를 심층적으로 조사했다. 그 결과, 일부 의원 및 가족에게서 ▲업무상비밀 이용 ▲부동산 명의신탁 ▲농지법 위반 ▲건축법 위반 등의 의혹을 발견한 것으로 알려졌다.
권익위는 이외에 구체적인 의혹에 대해선 밝히지 않고 있는데, 향후 합수본 수사를 통해 정확한 실체가 나올 것으로 예상된다. 합수본 수사는 경찰청 국가수사본부(국수본)가 주도하고 있다.
최근 중간수사 결과에 따르면 기존 내사 중이거나 수사 대상에 오른 국회의원은 모두 16명이다. 13명은 부동산 투기 의혹, 3명은 뇌물 등 다른 범죄 의혹을 받고 있다. 권익위 조사에서 의혹이 드러난 의원과 기존 합수본 수사 대상에 오른 국회의원 일부는 겹치는 것으로 알려졌다.
한편 국수본은 권익위 발표와 관련 "의혹을 받고 있는 국회의원 12명의 '부동산 거래 전수조사 결과' 공문을 접수했다"며 "권익위로부터 별도 통보받을 예정인 개별 조사결과 내용을 분석 후 엄정 수사할 예정"이라고 밝혔다.

The survey began in March at the request of the Democratic Party of Korea, with 174 lawmakers of the Democratic Party of Korea who agreed to provide personal information and 816 family members, including their spouses.
Based on real estate transactions over the past seven years, the investigation team conducted an in-depth investigation into whether it violated laws such as speculation. As a result, some lawmakers and their families reportedly found suspicions of ▲ business secret use ▲ trust in real estate names ▲ violation of the Farmland Act ▲ violation of the Building Act.
The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission has not revealed any specific suspicions, and it is expected that the exact reality will be revealed through a joint investigation in the future. The joint investigation is led by the National Investigation Headquarters of the National Police Agency.
According to the latest interim investigation results, a total of 16 lawmakers are currently under internal investigation or on the list of investigators. Thirteen are suspected of real estate speculation and three of other crimes, including bribery. Some lawmakers who were suspected in the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission investigation and those who were on the list of the existing joint investigation reportedly overlap.
"We have received an official letter from 12 lawmakers who are suspected of conducting a full investigation into real estate transactions," the agency said. "We will conduct a rigorous investigation after analyzing the results of individual investigations that will be notified separately by the commission."
