브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 이준석 국민의힘 대표는 22일 윤석열 전 검찰총장에 대해 "안철수 대표가 과거 정치에 미숙했을 때 했던 판단과 비슷한 판단을 한다"고 밝혔다.
이준석 대표는 22일 MBC 라디오 '김종배의 시선집중'에 출연해 "여의도 정치에 숙달된 분들과 거리 있는 분들이 여의도 아닌 곳에 캠프를 차리려고 하는데 그런 모델은 대부분 성과가 안 좋다"며 이같이 말했다.
그는 "전문적인 인사들의 도움 받아야 된다"면서 "의도를 회피하면서 정치하시는 분들의 모델은 대부분 성과가 안 좋다"고 지적했다.
이준석 대표는 윤 전 총장의 지지율 추이에 대해서도 "위험하다"며 "당 밖에 머무르는 시간이 길어지고 그것이 보수전체 지지층에게 양해를 받는 취지는 그분이 중도 확장성이나, 우리 당을 지지하기 어려운 분들이 있다면 그분들 지지세까지 확보하겠다는 취지에서 저희가 양해하고 있는 것"이라고 설명했다.
이어 그는 윤 전 총장의 지지율이 계속 떨어진다면 입당을 미룰 명분도 없어질 것이라며 위기를 해결해줄 '비단 주머니'는 그가 입당한 후 풀겠다고 했다. 그러면서 "잘못된 방향으로 열심히 달려가는 것 자체가 문제다. 바로 잡아야 하지 않을까 싶다"며 거듭 입당을 촉구했다.
그는 또한 윤석열 전 총장이 최근 윤 전 총장이 대구에서 박근혜 전 대통령의 적폐 수사를 한 것과 관련 '송구하다'고 말한데 대해서도 "과거 박근혜·이명박 정부를 수사했지만 문재인 정부에 맞섰던 어느 검사는 용기를 잃지 않고 우리와 합류할 수 있을 것이라고 이야기를 했다. 그런데 그 검사가 용기를 좀 잃은 것 같다"고 설명했다.

He then said, "If Yoon's approval rating continues to fall, there will be no justification to postpone joining the party," adding that he will solve the crisis after joining the party. "It's a problem in itself to run hard in the wrong direction. "I think we need to make it right," he said repeatedly urging him to join the party.
He also said, " Park Geun-hye, Moon Jae-in and Lee Myung-bak government investigation into the government against Yoon Suk Yeol, which is not discouraged, and talked that it can join us. But the prosecutor seems to have lost some courage.
