브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 야권 유력 대권주자인 윤석열 전 검찰총장이 후원금 모집 하루만에 목표액을 모두 채웠다.
윤석열 캠프측은 "26일 오후 8시 15분 마지막 입금을 끝으로 총 25억6545만원의 후원금 모집이 완료됐다"면서 "이 가운데 2만147명(94.7%)이 10만원 이하 소액 후원자"라고 27일 밝혔다.
윤 전 총장은 자신의 페이스북을 통해 "어떻게 감사 인사를 드려야 좋을지 모르겠다"며 "기록적인 모금이 이루어진 상황을 보니 정권교체를 염원하는 국민의 열망이 표출된 결과가 아닐까 생각한다. 마음을 보태주신 여러분과 함께 상식이 통용되는 공정의 대한민국 꼭 만들어내겠다"고 감사인사를 전했다.
황준국 후원회장도 "경제적으로 어려운 시기임에도 대통령 선거 역사상 가장 빠르게 후원금이 모였다"며 "소액후원금들이 전국에서 초 단위로 입금되었고, 마감 이후에도 후원금 문의가 이어지고 있는 상황"이라고 말했다.
여야를 통틀어 후원금 모집 한도액을 첫날에 채운 것은 윤 전 총장이 처음이다. 또한 가장 많은 후원금을 모집한 것 역시 윤 전 총장이다.
