브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 자녀 입시비리와 사모펀드 불법투자 등의 혐의로 재판에 넘겨진 정경심 동양대 교수가 항소심에서도 징역 4년을 선고받았다.
항소심 재판부는 조국 전 법무부장관과 정 교수의 딸인 조민씨의 '7대 스펙'에 대해 허위가 맞다고 판단내렸다.
서울고법 형사1-2부(부장판사 엄상필·심담·이승련)는 11일 업무방해 및 자본시장과 금융투자업에 관한 법률 위반 등 혐의로 기소된 정 교수의 항소심에서 1심 판단 그대로인 징역 4년을 선고했다.
그러나 벌금은 5억원에서 5000만원으로 감액했으며 추징금 역시 1억3800만여원에서 1061만여원으로 내려갔다.

재판부는 아울러 사모펀드 비리 관련 혐의에 대해선 1심의 일부 유죄를 무죄로 판단했다.
재판부는 정 교수가 2018년 1월 조씨로부터 군산공장 가동에 관한 정보를 받고 동생 명의로 WFM 주식 12만주를 매수한 혐의 중 1심이 유죄 판단한 10만주를 무죄라고 봤다.
