경북교육청(교육감 임종식)이 2학기 전면등교를 위해 안전한 학교 만들기에 총력을 기울이고 있다고 밝혔다.

도교육청은 코로나19 확산의 지속에도 학교 감염상황 분석 및 등교 확대 필요를 고려하고 효과적인 교육 회복을 추진하기 위해 2학기 전면등교를 추진하고 있다.
이를 위해 도교육청은 교육장 회의, 교육감과 교장단 대표 간 특별 대담회, 교(원)장 비대면 회의 2회, 탄력적인 2학기 등교수업 방안 안내 등을 실시해 학교 현장 의견을 청취하고 소통했다.
또한 지난 2월 과밀학급 해소를 위해 초등학교 1~3학년 43학급을 증설해 교실 내 거리 두기 및 방역 강화에 힘쓰고 있다고 전했다.
이와 함께 2학기 학교 방역 체계 강화를 위해 지난 9일부터 오는 9월 3일까지 4주간 ‘2학기 개학 대비 집중방역 기간’을 운영하여 방학 및 휴가철 이완된 긴장감 제고, 학생 및 교직원 대상 방역수칙 교육·홍보, 학교별 자체방역계획 수립, 밀집도 증가 취약요소 확인 등 학교 방역 전반에 대한 점검을 하고, 미비점을 보완할 예정이다.
또한 코로나19 확산 방지 및 학습 공백에 대한 대응 체계를 마련을 위해 지역 방역당국, 학부모 등과의 소통과 협력 체계 구축, 원격수업 전환 등을 준비했다.
