대구시와 대구테크노파크(원장 권대수)가 2021년 신규 Pre-스타기업으로 20개사를 선정했다.
24일 대구시와 대구TP가 앞서 스타기업 8개 사 선정한데 이어 성장 잠재력을 갖추고 지역 경제의 미래를 이끌어 나갈 작지만 강한 기업 20개 사를 신규 Pre-스타기업으로 선정했다고 밝혔다.

올해 선정된 Pre-스타기업으로는 주력산업 분야에서 대건금속, ㈜소포스, ㈜이룸쿡, ㈜제이에스코리아, ㈜창보(이상 뿌리·소재), ㈜씨엠케이푸드, ㈜엑스팩토리, 영원(이상 도시형 산업), 아레텍㈜(지능형기계)과, 5+1 미래 산업분야의 ㈜릴리커버, ㈜무지개연구소, ㈜제나, ㈜지비소프트(이상 ICT융합), ㈜라지, 비젼디지텍㈜, 퍼시픽엑스코리아㈜(이상 미래형 자동차), ㈜로우템, ㈜엠모니터, ㈜씨티셀즈, ㈜아스트로젠(이상 의료) 등이 있다.
대구시와 대구 TP는 특히 올해부터 Pre-스타기업 선정 시 혁신적 기술로 미래가치가 높은 기업유형인 대구형 유니콘 기업을 일반기업과 별도의 트랙으로 선정한다고 밝혔다.
아울러 향후 대구형 유니콘 기업은 중기부 유니콘 사업과 연계한 성장 사다리 체계를 구축할 계획이다.
한편 신규 Pre-스타기업 20개사가 선정되면서 Pre-스타기업이 141개사가 되었다.
권영진 대구시장은 “예비스타기업의 성과가 곧 대구경제의 미래라고 할 수 있을 만큼 기술파급력 및 고용창출에 있어서 중요한 위치를 차지하고 있다”며, “앞으로 작지만 강한 소기업 집중육성에 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 말했다.
