경북도립대학교(총장 김상동)가 권역별 대학 원격교육지원센터 설치?운영 사업의 공동활용 강의 녹화 스튜디오 구축에 나섰다.
경북도립대는 지난 8월 18일 오전 10시 본관 2층 회의실에서 대구보건대학교 김한수 경영부총장, 이희경 대학교육혁신단장, 이영은 원격교육지원센터장 등이 참석한 가운데 공동활용 강의 녹화 스튜디오을 위한 업무 협의를 진행했다.
이날 회의에서는 예산 지원을 확정하고 공동활용 강의 녹화 스튜디오 구축에 필요한 기자재와 인테리어 설치 등 세부 논의가 이어졌다.
지난해 11월 교육부와 한국교육학술정보원이 포스트 코로나 시대로의 미래 교육 체제 전환을 위해 총 10개의 권역별 대학 원격교육지원센터를 지정하면서 대구?경북권역에서는 경북대와 대구보건대 컨소시엄(연합체)이 선정되어 2개 대학을 거점대학으로 하여 권역 내 36개 대학이 협력대학으로 참여하고 있다.
이 가운데 협력대학 중 지역별 접근성 향상과 확장성을 위해 공동활용 강의 녹화 스튜디오를 일반대 3곳과 전문대학 3곳에 두기로 협의하면서 경북도립대학교가 전문대학 중 한 곳으로 선정되었다.

스튜디오 구축이 완료되면 운영·실무 컨설팅과 설명회 등을 통해 대학 내 교원들의 교육 콘텐츠 개발 등 원격수업 역량 향상을 지원할 예정이며 이후 권역 내 대학, 기업, 지역사회 등에서도 스튜디오를 활용할 수 있도록 공동 활용방안도 내놓을 계획이다.
김상동 총장은 “이번 공동활용 강의 녹화 스튜디오 구축뿐만 아니라 이러닝 스튜디오, 와이파이 환경개선, AI 면접실 등 교내 스마트 캠퍼스 환경 조성을 위해 아낌없이 지원할 것”이라고 밝혔다.
