성주여자중학교(교장 이익수) 하키팀이 2021년 5관왕의 금자탑을 쌓아올리며 금메달을 거머쥐었다.
성주여중이 지난 8월 20일부터 8월 25일까지 동해에서 개최된 제35회 대통령기전국하키대회 겸 제50회 전국소년 체전에 출전하여 금메달 수상의 영예를 안았다.

성주여중의 이번 대회 우승은 2021춘계전국남여하키대회(3월), 제40회 협회장기전국남여하키대회(4월) 제22회 한국중·고하키연맹회장기 하키대회 우승(7월)에 이은 것으로 이번 제32회 문화체육관광부장관기 전국하키대회(8월)에서의 우승으로 필드하키 명문으로써 자리를 굳건히 했다.
이번 대회에서 성주여중은 작년 31회 문화체육관광부장관기 전국하키대회 준결승전에서 만났던 충남 한올중과 또 다시 준결승에서 만나 접전을 펼쳤고 1점차 짜릿한 승리를 거두며 결승에 진출했다.
이어 김해여중과의 결승전에서는 5:0으로 승리하며 필드하키 명문의 저력을 보여주며 금메달을 확정지었다.
본 대회에서 김세은 선수(2년)가 최우수선수상을, 김혜윤 선수(3년), 박희원 선수(1년)가 득점상을 수상하는 영예를 안았다. 또한 신혜경(감독), 박영하(코치) 선생님이 각각 감독상, 지도자상을 수상하며 기쁨을 나누었다.
