대구한의대학교(총장 변창훈)가 ‘찾아가는 꿈 찾기 진로캠프’를 개최한다.
오는 9월 1일부터 11월 12일까지 영천지역 고등학생 370여 명을 대상으로 실시되는 이번 캠프는 코로나19 상황에 따라 교육기관이 각 신청 학교로 찾아가 교육하는 형태로 학급별 20명 미만의 학생을 배정하여 운영된다.

캠프에 참여하는 고등학생은 △항공서비스학전공의 항공객실 승무원 안전 및 서비스체험, △시니어스포츠학전공의 시니어스포츠와 스포츠테이핑 체험, △한방스포츠의학과의 신체디자인 운동, △미술치료학과의 미술치료사 집단 미술치료 체험 등의 전공체험 활동을 통해 각 전공과 관련된 직업군과 구체적 진로?진학 방향을 찾아가는 시간을 가진다.
아울러 캠프를 통해 사물인터넷, 인공지능 등 4차 산업 관련 진로교육과 조향사, 에너지환경공학자 등 일반 직업체험의 기회도 제공할 예정이다.
대구한의대학교 신성원 진로체험센터장은 “코로나19로 인해 전공체험 교육 시 대학의 각종 시설과 자원을 활용하지 못해 아쉽지만, 이번 진로캠프를 통해 학생들이 꿈을 펼칠 수 있는 계기가 되고 미래사회에 대비해 진로와 직업을 설계하고, 진로결정에 필요한 정보를 습득할 수 있는 좋은 기회가 되기를 바란다”고 전했다.
