민주당 경북도당, 노동정책 기본계획 수립 위한 토론회 개최

더불어민주당 경북도당(위원장 장세호)이 경북 노동정책 기본계획 수립을 위한 연속 토론회를 개최했다.

1일 경북도청 동락관에서 열린 이번 토론회는 경북지역의 열악한 노동환경과 기후위기·디지털전환·에너지체제 전환 등 변화에 대응한 노동기본정책 수립을 위해 마련되었다.

이날 토론회는 더불어민주당 경북도당과 소속 경북도의원, 민주노총 경북지역본부를 비롯해 참여 정당이 공동으로 주최하였으며 9월 1일 1차 ‘기후위기와 디지털전환이 지역 노동에 미치는 효과와 대응과제’를 주제로 한 토론회를 시작으로 14일 2차 ‘경북지역 노동기본정책 수립을 위한 입법 토론회’ 와 11월 17일 ‘경북지역 비정규직노동자 노동권 실태조사 결과와 과제’를 주제로 한 3차 토론회까지 이어질 예정이다.

기후위기, 디지털 전환 등 급변하는 노동환경에 따른 대응을 놓고 노동, 정치계가 함께 머리를 맞댄 1차 토론회에서는 오기형 민노총 금속노조부장이 ‘정의로운 산업전환’, 임운택 계명대교수의 ‘디지털전환의 의미와 지자체-노동계의 과제’, 임순광 민노총경북본부 정책국장의 ‘대안으로서의 지역적 일자리 보장제’에 대해 토론을 펼쳤다.

장세호 경북도당위원장은 “노동계가 안고 있는 지금의 문제는 우리 모두의 삶의 문제이며 생존과 미래 먹거리에 관한 중요한 과제인 만큼 여당인 민주당 경북도당이 책임감을 갖고 문제해결에 주도적으로 나서겠다”면서 “오늘 토론회를 계기로 노동계와 정치권이 함께 고민하고 정책적 대안 마련에 최선을 다하자”고 강조했다.
