경일대학교(총장 정현태)가 2021년 대학기본역량진단에서 일반재정지원 대학으로 선정됨에 따라 과정과 내용을 공유하고 소통하기 위한 워크숍을 개최했다.
지난달 17일 교육부가 발표한 2021년 대학기본역량진단은 대학의 발전계획과 성과, 교육여건, 대학운영의 책무성, 교육과정 운영, 학생 지원, 교육성과 등 6개의 항목에 따라 평가되었다.

해당 평가에서 일반재정지원 대학으로 선정된 경일대학교는 일반재정과 특수목적재정, 국가장학금 및 학자금 대출을 모두 지원받을수 있게 되었다.
이 가운데 경일대학교는 8일 도서관 강당에서 교직원 3백여 명이 현장과 온라인(ZOOM)으로 참석한 가운데 워크숍을 진행했다.
워크숍은 홍재표 부총장의 평가 개요 및 정량지표에 대한 발표를 시작으로 ▲발전계획의 성과 ▲교육여건 ▲대학운영의 책무성 ▲교육과정 및 학생 평가 ▲학생 학습역량 지원 ▲진로·심리 상담 지원 ▲취·창업 지원 등의 순서로 진행되었다.
정현태 총장은 인사말을 통해 “교직원 여러분들이 지혜를 한데 모으고 모든 역량을 결집해 대학 기본역량 진단 평가‘에서 좋은 성과를 거둘 수 있었다”라며 “앞으로도 교육 인프라에 대한 투자를 지속적으로 확대하고 교육과정 혁신을 완성해 고등교육의 미래를 제시하는 대학으로 발전시켜 나갈 것”을 당부했다.
