브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 송영길 더불어민주당 대표는 13일 윤석열 전 검찰총장 측이 '고발 사주 의혹'의 배후에 박지원 국가정보원장이 있다고 주장하자 "메시지를 반박할 수 없으면 메신저를 공격하라는 아주 전형적인 구태정치"라고 맹비판했다.

송 대표는 "공익신고자가 사건을 '뉴스버스'에 제보한 것은 7월 21일로 국민의힘이 트집잡고 있는 박지원 원장과 공익제보자간 식사자리인 8월 11일보다 20여일 전"이라며 "실제로 조성은이라는 분이 김웅 의원으로부터 고발장 문건을 전달받은 게 4월 3일 아닌가. 8월 11일날 식사한 것이 도대체 무슨 관계있는지 모르겠다"고 강조했다.
