브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 김여정 북한 노동당 부부장은 24일 문재인 대통령이 유엔총회에서 종전선언을 제안한 것과 관련, 흥미있는 제안이고 좋은 발상이라고 밝혔다.
이날 북한 조선중앙통신 보도에 따르면 김여정 부부장은 담화문을 통해 "장기간 지속돼 오고 있는 조선반도의 불안정한 정전상태를 물리적으로 끝장내고 상대방에 대한 적대시를 철회한다는 의미에서의 종전선언은 흥미있는 제안이고 좋은 발상"이라고 말했다.
다만 그는 "종전선언은 나쁘지 않다"면서도 "그러나 지금 때가 적절한지 그리고 모든 조건이 이런 논의를 해보는데 만족되는지를 먼저 살펴봐야 할 것이다"고 지적했다.
김 부부장은 "지금과 같이 우리 국가에 대한 이중적인 기준과 편견, 적대시적인 정책과 적대적인 언동이 지속되고 있는 가운데 반세기 넘게 적대적이었던 나라들이 전쟁 불씨로 될 수 있는 그 모든 것을 그대로 두고 종전을 선언한다는 것은 말이 되지 않는다"며 "서로 애써 웃음 지으며 종전선언문이나 낭독하고 사진이나 찍는 것이 누구에게는 간절할지 몰라도 진정한 의미가 없다"고 했다.
그는 또 "종전 선언을 하려면 서로에 대한 존중이 보장되고 상대방에 대한 편견적인 시각과 지독한 적대시 정책, 불공평한 이중기준부터 먼저 철회돼야 한다"고 강조했다.
김 부부장은 "자기들이 자행하는 행동의 당위성과 정당성은 미화하고 우리의 정당한 자위권 행사들은 한사코 걸고 들며 매도하려드는 이러한 이중적이며 비논리적인 편견과 악습, 적대적인 태도는 버려야 한다"며 "이러한 선결조건이 마련돼야 서로 마주앉아 의의있는 종전도 선언할 수 있을 것이며 북남관계, 조선반도의 전도문제에 대해서도 의논을 해볼 수 있을 것"이라고 했다.
그러면서 "우리는 남조선이 때 없이 우리를 자극하고 이중잣대를 가지고 억지를 부리며 사사건건 트집을 잡던 과거를 멀리하고 앞으로의 언동에서 매사 숙고하며 적대적이지 않다면 얼마든지 북남사이에 다시 긴밀한 소통을 유지하며 관계회복과 발전전망에 대한 건설적인 논의를 해볼 용의가 있다"고 덧붙였다.

According to a report by North Korea's Chosun Central News Agency, Vice Minister Kim Yeo-jung said in a statement, "The declaration of the end of the long-standing unstable power outage on the Joseon Peninsula is an interesting proposal and a good idea to withdraw hostility against the other party."
However, he said, "The declaration of the end of the war is not bad," but pointed out, "However, we will have to first look at whether the time is appropriate and whether all conditions are satisfied with this discussion."
Deputy General Manager Kim said, "It doesn't make sense for countries that have been hostile for more than half a century to declare an end to war while dual standards, prejudices, hostile policies and hostile actions against our country continue," adding, "It may be desperate for anyone to laugh, read, and take pictures."
He also stressed, "To declare the end of the war, respect for each other must be guaranteed, prejudice against the other party, terrible hostility policies, and unfair double standards must be withdrawn first."
Deputy General Manager Kim said, "The justification and legitimacy of their actions should be glorified, and our legitimate exercise of self-defense should be abandoned," adding, "Only when these prerequisites are in place can we talk to each other about a righteous end to the North-South relationship and the Joseon Peninsula."
He added, "We are willing to stay away from the past when South Korea was constantly stimulating us, forcing us to double-check everything, deliberate everything in future words, and maintain close communication between North and South and have constructive discussions on prospects for relationship recovery and development."
