대구대학교(총장 김상호)가 삼성 라이온즈와 한화 이글스의 경기에서 수시 지원자를 위한 입학상담 프로그램 ‘대구대학교의 날’ 행사를 개최했다.
선수단 유니폼에 대구대 견장 광고를 진행하고 있는 삼성라이온즈의 홈구장 라이온즈 파크에서 진행된 이번 행사는 지난 7월 대입정보박람회에 이어 두 번째로 열린 대구대입시 프로그램이다.

이날 대구대학교 수시모집에 응시한 수험생 및 학부모 약 1,000명은 삼성 라이온즈 응원과 함께 학과(부)별 맞춤형 밀착 상담과 함께 진로·전공 상담 등 대입 정보를 안내받았다.
경기에 앞서 대구대 스포츠레저학과 3학년에 재학 중인 이설화·박이슬 소프트볼 선수가 시구와 시포를 맡았고, 김상호 총장은 시타를 했다.
행사장을 찾은 청구고등학교 3학년 김건률 학생은 “학과 상담과 함께 삼성라이온즈를 응원하기 위해 라팍을 찾았다”면서 “이번 행사는 입시정보도 받고 야구 경기도 관람할 수 있어서 무척 유익했다”고 말했다.
최성규 대구대 특임부총장은 “이번 행사를 통해 수시모집에 지원한 수험생과 학부모들에게 감사의 뜻을 전하고 대학 입학을 위한 심층 상담을 제공했다”며 “오는 11월경 수시모집 최초 합격자 발표 후 전국의 우수한 학생들이 대구대에 최종 등록해 넓고 아름다운 경산캠퍼스에서 다시 만날 수 있기를 기대한다”고 말했다.
