대구한의대학교(총장 변창훈) 산학협력단과 한동R&C그룹 계열사 울릉우리술(주) (대표이사 천기화)가 울릉도 지역특산물을 활용한 기능성 음료 연구개발 사업 공동 추진을 위해 협약을 체결했다.
지난 9월 30일 삼성캠퍼스 본관 2층 회의실에서 진행된 이번 협약은 상호 공동프로젝트, 연구개발, 기술협력을 통한 개발한 제품의 상업화를 위한 상호협력을 주요 골자로 한다.

양 기관은 이번 협약 체결을 통해 향후 다양한 식품분야에서 공동연구 개발로 제품을 개발할 예정이다.
대구한의대학교 박수진 산학협력단장은“ 우리대학의 연구개발력과 울릉우리술(주)의 생산·마케팅 네트워크의 결합으로 지역의 대표적인 산학협력 성공사례가 되어 지역사회에 기여할 수 있도록 최선의 노력을 다하겠다”고 전했다.
한동R&C그룹 천기화 회장은“대학과 지역사회 기업이 서로 윈-윈 하기 위해서는 서로가 가진 장점들을 잘 융·복합하는 것이 중요하다”면서 “대구한의대학교의 적극적인 연구지원과 우리기업의 성공경영 노하우를 통해 성공적인 산학협력 사례가 될 수 있도록 모든 지원과 노력을 아끼지 않겠다”고 밝혔다.
