안동과학대학교(총장 권상용)가 ‘2021년 산학협력 우수사례 경진대회’ 최우수상을 수상했다.
교육부가 주최하고 한국연구재단이 주관하는 ‘산학협력 우수사례 경진대회’는 일반대·전문대를 포함한 대학 및 단체를 대상으로 인력양성 및 기술협력 두 가지 부문에서 산학협력 활성화 및 문화 확산에 기여한 기관.단체를 발굴하기 위해 실시된다.

올해 안동과학대학교는 바이오백신분야 인재양성을 위한 산학 공동 교육 운영 사례로 인력양성 부분에서 교육부장관상인 최우수상의 영예를 차지했다.
안동과학대학교는 대학이 위치한 경북 안동의 SK바이오사이언스, SK플라즈마, 경북바이오산업연구원, 백신상용화기술지원센터, 동물세포실증지원센터, 국제백신연구소 안동분원(IVI) 등 백신산업 클러스터와 다양한 협약 체결과 적극적인 산학협력으로 바이오백신분야 우수인재 양성을 위한 산학 공동 교육 체계를 구축했다.
뿐만 아니라 산업체에서 바이오·백신을 생산하는 현장과 동일한 환경을 구축하여 교육의 현장성을 강화하고, 산업체 참여형 현장중심 교육과정 운영하여 지역 우수 기업으로의 취업 확대 성과를 거두었다.
안동과학대 권상용 총장은 “이번 최우수상 수상을 통해 안동과학대학교가 산학협력을 통한 맞춤형 인재양성을 선도하는 대학으로 인정받은 만큼 앞으로도 대학-지자체-지역 산업체 기반의 지역 신산업발전을 위한 산학협력 상생모델 구축을 위해 힘쓰겠다.” 고 말했다.
