브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 안철수 국민의당 대표는 1일 제20대 대통령 선거 출마를 공식화했다.
안철수 대표는 이날 국회 잔디광장 분수대 앞에서 대선출마 선언식을 갖고 "산업화 시대, 민주화 시대를 넘어 선진화 시대로 나아가는 '시대 교체'를 하겠다"며 출사표를 던졌다. 이 자리에는 권은희 원내대표 등 당 지도부와 지지자 등 50여명이 함께했다.
안 대표는 "지금의 정치는 기득권 양당이 간판 선수만 교체하고 있다. 정권 교체는 구 적폐를 몰아낸 자리에 신 적폐가 들어서는 '적폐 교대'만 반복하고 있다"면서 "저는 기득권에 빚진 것이 없어서 어떤 후보보다 비리에 단호할 수 있다. 가장 깨끗한 대통령으로 임기를 마칠 유일한 후보"라고 강조했다.
그는 "첨단 과학과 첨단 기술의 힘으로 국가 성장 동력과 미래 먹거리 문제를 해결하는 대통령이 되겠다"고 다짐하면서 국가 핵심 전략과제에 집중하는 '전략적 대통령'이 되겠다고 했다.
이를 위해 과학기술부총리 도입과 함께 과학기술중심국가 건설을 만들겠다고 공약하며 "전문성을 가진 정통 직업관료가 공직사회의 중심이 되는 테크노크라트 전성시대를 열겠다"고 했다.
또한 당선된다면 청와대 인력을 반으로 줄이고 책임 총리, 책임 장관이 권한과 책임을 갖고 국정 운영을 하겠다고 공약했다.
정치권에도 여·야·정 협의체를 실질화 하고, 대통령과 정당 대표간 만남을 정례화하겠다고 약속했다.
안 대표는 대통령에 당선된다면 국민들에게 중간 평가를 받겠다고 했다. 그는 "당선된 후 임기 중반에 여야가 합의하는 조사 방법으로 국민 신뢰를 50% 이상 받지 못하거나 22대 총선에서 제가 소속된 정당이 제1당이 못 되면 대통령 자리에서 물러나겠다. 이 정도 자신감도 없다면 후보에 나서지 말아야 한다"고 했다.

안 대표는 지난 2012년 정치 입문 이후 지금까지 10년간 정치를 해온데 대해 "국민들께서 안철수에게 바란 것은 안철수의 옷을 입고 안철수답게 정치를 하라는 것이었는데, 여의도 정치의 옷을 입어야 되는 줄 알았다. 어쩌면 안 맞는 옷을 어떻게든 입으려 했기에 기대하신 국민들께서 실망하고, 제가 그토록 힘들었다는 결론에 이르렀다. 부끄럽고 죄송하다"고 반성했다.
그러면서 "이제 새로운 각오로, 더 좋은 대한민국을 위한 전략적 마인드를 가진 '국가 경영인'으로 나서겠다. 과거를 파먹고 사는 역사의 기생 세력과 완전히 결별하고 대전환, 대혁신의 시대를 열어나가겠다"고 강조했다.
한편 안철수 대표는 국민의힘 후보와 단일화를 염두에 둔 출마가 아니냐는 일각의 시각에 대해서도 "당선을 위해 출마한 것"이라고 선을 그었다.

In addition, if elected, the Blue House workforce will be halved, and the Prime Minister and Minister of Responsibility have pledged to operate state affairs with authority and responsibility.
Political circles also promised to materialize the consultative body between women, opposition parties, and political parties and to regularize meetings between the president and representatives of political parties.
