대구보건대학교(총장 남성희)는 임상병리과 최선영 교수가 제65회 대한심장학회 추계학술대회에서 최우수 초록상(Best Abstract)을 수상했다고 밝혔다.

이번에 수상한 최선영 교수의 초록은‘저위험군 심방세동 환자에서 저용량 경구용 비-비타민K 길항제 효과성’으로 국민건강보험공단 심방세동 환자 데이터를 기반으로 표준 용량과 저용량 비-비타민 K 길항제의 효과성과 안전성에 대해 연구했다.
비-비타민 K 길항제(NOACs)에 대한 연구가 국내외에서 활발히 진행되고 있지만 출혈성 경향이 높은 한국인에 대한 연구는 부족한 실정이다.
이 가운데 최 교수는 한국인 심방세동 환자의 비-비타민 K 길항제 치료 패턴과 치료 효과를 분석해 한국인 심방세동 환자에 대해 과잉처방은 막고 치료효과는 극대화하며 임상적 의미가 있는 연구로 평가받았다.
최선영 교수는“이번 연구가 한국인 심방세동 환자에게 새로운 치료 가이드라인으로서 적절한 비-비타민 K 길항제 처방용량과 치료지침을 제공해 출혈성 합병증과 뇌졸중 발병률을 줄일 수 있도록 더욱 연구에 박차를 가하겠다”고 전했다.
