대구한의대학교(총장 변창훈) 기린봉사단이 '김장김치 나눔 봉사활동'으로 이웃과의 온기 나눔에 나섰다.
지난 26일 기린봉사단은 코로나19로 인해 지역사회 내 어려운 이웃들이 건강하고 따뜻한 겨울을 나길 바라는 마음에 이번 김장 나눔 봉사 활동을 진행했다.

이번 행사는 기린봉사단장인 변창훈 총장, 신성원 부단장, 최동식 교학부처장, 박광림 총학생회장을 포함한 35명의 자원봉사자들이 참가했다.
이들이 따뜻한 마음을 담아 정성스럽게 김장한 440kg 분량의 김치는 경산 관내 저소득층 독거노인 100가구에게 전달 될 예정이다.
봉사활동에 참여한 권은주(식품영약학과 2학년) 학생 “학우들과 함께 정성으로 담근 김장김치를 도움이 필요한 어르신들과 함께 나눌 수 있어 보람을 느낀다”며 “앞으로도 지역사랑을 실천할 수 있는 다양한 봉사활동에 적극적으로 참여하겠다”라고 말했다.
변창훈 총장은 “정성으로 준비한 김장김치가 코로나19로 더욱 힘든 이웃들에게 따뜻한 선물이 되기를 바란다.”고 말했다.
