대구가톨릭대, 'ESG 공공기관 직무박람회' 개최

대구가톨릭대(총장 우동기)가 ‘ESG 공공기관 직무박람회’를 개최해 공공기관 입사를 희망하는 학생들에게 NCS 채용 컨설팅과 취업 상담을 진행했다.

지난 1일과 2일 효성캠퍼스 대강당에서 열린 이번 행사에는 근로복지공단, 농협, 대구도시공사, 대구도시철도공사, 한국농어촌공사, 한국연구재단 등 22개 공공기관이 참여했다.

이날 행사에서는 한국생산성본부 등이 참여한 컨설팅 zone에서 증명사진 촬영, 맞춤 면접 컨설팅이 제공됐다.

이와 함께 대구가톨릭대 글로벌취업지원팀과 학생상담센터, 진로취업지원팀, 대학일자리센터, NCS지원전략센터와 대구·경북권 대학일자리(플러스)센터 협의회는 정보제공 zone을 마련해 전반적인 취업 관련 안내를 진행했다. 또한 박람회와 연계 행사로 언론 NCS 특강과 토크콘서트가 이어졌다.

NCS 채용 컨설팅에 참여한 김재훈(스페인어중남미학과 4학년) 학생은 “ESG의 개념을 바탕으로 설립된 다양한 기업을 접하고, 취업과 관련해 부족한 부분을 점검할 수 있어 많은 도움이 됐다”고 말했다.

우동기 대구가톨릭대 총장은 “지난 11월 발표한 우리 대학 ‘7대 발전전략’ 가운데 5, 6, 7번이 ESG 관련 내용이다. 행사를 통해 우리 대학은 이에 대한 올바른 방향을 제시할 것이며, 학생들은 활발한 참여를 통해 행사의 가치를 더욱 높여주길 바란다”고 말했다.

Kim Jae-hoon (4th year Spanish Latin American Department), who participated in NCS recruitment consulting, said, "It was very helpful to be able to get in touch with various companies established based on the concept of ESG and to check the gaps related to employment."

Dong-ki Woo, President of Daegu Catholic University, said, “Of the ‘Seven Development Strategies’ of our university announced in November, No. 5, 6, and 7 are ESG-related contents. Through the event, our university will suggest the right direction for this, and we hope that students will further enhance the value of the event through active participation.”
