[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 조해진 의원이 국가 경제 발전과 자유시장 체제의 발전에 공헌하는 입법활동을 인정받아 자유기업원이 수여하는 ‘2021 자유경제입법상’을 지난 6일 수상했다고 밝혔다.
올해로 11회를 맞는 ‘자유경제입법상’은 국회의원들의 입법 활동을 평가하여 시장친화적인 활동으로 대한민국 경제와 자유시장경제체제 발전에 공헌한 국회의원들에게 주는 상으로 시장친화지수가 높은 의원을 선정한 후, 심사위원의 엄정한 수상 선발 과정을 거쳐 ‘자유경제입법상’을 2008년부터 시상해 오고 있다.
조 의원은 국가와 지자체가 선거를 앞두고 금품을 살포하는 행위를 금지하는 ‘공직선거법 개정안’을 발의하여 포퓰리즘과 혈세 탕진을 방지함으로써 국정이 건실하고 절제 있게 운영될 수 있도록 이바지했다는 평가를 받았다.
조 의원은 그동안 농업인에 대한 조세감면혜택의 연장조치를 담은 ‘조세특례제한법 개정안’ 등 국가경제와 민생을 위한 입법활동에 주력해왔다.
