[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 정점식 국회의원이 21일 한국농촌지도자중앙연합회로부터 “2021년도 대한민국 농업대상 최우수 국회의원상”을 수상했다고 밝혔다.

대한민국 농업대상 최우수 국회의원상은 국내 농업·농촌 발전 및 농업인의 권익증진에 이바지한 공로를 인정받아 수여되는 상이다.

농어민의 각종 세제혜택 연장을 위해 대표발의한 조세·지방세 특례제한법이 국회 본회의를 통과했으며, 농어업 안전재해 예방 대책을 강화하는 농어업인안전보험법 개정안 등을 발의하여 제도개선에도 지속적인 노력을 기울여 왔다.
