간호 교육을 위해 2013년 개소한 엔젤시티는 △성인간호시뮬레이션실 △응급실 △집중치료실(ICU) △수술실(OR) △여성간호시뮬레이션실 △가족분만실(LDR room) △부인과 병동(GY Unit) △신생아 집중치료실(NICU) △SP 시뮬레이션실 △재난구조&BLS실 △핵심기술실습실 등이 갖춰져 있다.
아울러 김천대 간호학과는 22년부터 신입생 15명을 증원하며 임상실습 역량을 강화하기위해 EMR (electronic medical record) 프로그램을 도입하여 간호 기록을 직접 수행할 수 있도록 하고 너싱스킬을 통해 핵심간호술기를 온라인 학습하는 시스템을 갖추었다.
김천대 관계자는 "김천대는 대구·경북 지역 4년대 사립대 중 취업률 1위를 기록하고 있으며, 재학생들을 위해 취업 전담 교수제를 운영한다. 이 외에도 1:1 취업 심층 컨설팅, 가상 면접 시뮬레이션 등을 통해 취업에 직접적으로 도움이 되는 다채로운 프로그램을 진행 중이다"고 전했다.
