브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 박근혜 전 대통령이 오는 31일 문재인 정부 마지막 특별사면 대상자에 이름을 올렸다.
법무부는 24일 오전 서울 종로구 정부서울청사에서 브리핑을 갖고 오는 31일자로 3094명에 대한 2022년 신년 특별사면·복권 등을 단행한다고 밝혔다.
박근혜 전 대통령은 국정농단 사건으로 지난 2017년 3월 31일 수감된 이후 1729일만에 사면이 결정됐다. 박 전 대통령은 국가정보원 특수활동비 상납 등 혐의로 총 22년형이 확정돼 수감 중이다.
특히 박근혜 전 대통령의 사면에는 문재인 대통령의 의중이 반영된 게 아니냐는 분석이 나온다. 법무부 사면심사위원회가 지난 20~21일 가진 심사에선 박 전 대통령의 특별사면 여부가 논의되지 않은 것으로 전해졌기 때문이다. 특별사면은 대통령의 권한이다.

이에 대해 법무부는 "국민 대화합의 관점에서 형 집행을 완료한 한 전 국무총리를 복권했다"고 밝혔다.
이석기 전 통합진보당 의원도 이날 오전 10시 가석방된다. 이 전 의원은 내란선동 등 혐의로 징역 9년이 확정돼 대전교도소에서 복역 중이었다.
한편 문재인 정부 마지막 특별사면·복권 대상에는 ▲일반 형사범 2650명 ▲중소기업·소상공인 38명 ▲특별배려 수형자 21명 ▲선거사범 315명 ▲사회적 갈등 사건 관련자 65명 ▲노동계 및 시민운동가 2명 ▲낙태사범 1명 등이 포함됐다.
