브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 박근혜 전 대통령은 정부의 특별사면 대상에 포함된 데 대해 "어려움이 많았음에도 사면을 결정해준 문재인 대통령과 정부 당국에 심심한 사의(謝意, 감사히 여기는 뜻)를 표한다"고 24일 밝혔다.
박 전 대통령은 이날 유영하 변호사를 통해 이같은 입장을 언론에 공개했다.
박 전 대통령이 "많은 심려를 끼쳐드려 국민 여러분께 송구스럽다는 말씀을 드린다"라며 "변함없는 지지와 성원을 보내주셔서 감사하다"고 말했다고 유 변호사는 전했다.
이어 그는 "신병치료에 전념해 빠른 시일 내에 국민 여러분께 직접 감사 인사를 드릴 수 있도록 하겠다"고 덧붙였다.
한편 박근혜 전 대통령은 정부의 이번 특별사면 대상에 오름에 따라 오는 31일 오전 0시 석방된다. 박 전 대통령은 국정농단 혐의로 유죄를 확정받고 복역 중이었으며 최근 건강상태 악화를 이유로 지난달 22일부터 삼성서울병원에 입원해 치료를 받아왔다.

Former President Park disclosed her position to the media through lawyer Yoo Young-ha.
Former President Park said, "I apologize to the people for causing a lot of concern," and added, "I am grateful for your unchanging support and support."
He added, "We will concentrate on treating new diseases so that we can directly thank the people as soon as possible."
Meanwhile, former President Park Geun Hye will be released at 0 a.m. on the 31st following the government's special pardon. Former President Park was convicted of state affairs manipulation and has been serving a prison term, and has been hospitalized at Samsung Medical Center since the 22nd of last month due to the recent deterioration of health conditions.
