브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 최근 차기 대선후보 지지도 여론조사에서 안철수 국민의당 대표 지지율이 급상승한 가운데 국민의당에선 야권 단일화에 대해 선을 긋는 분위기다.
권은희 국민의당 원내대표는 10일 YTN라디오 출발새아침에서 국민의힘에서 나오는 공동정부론이나 더불어민주당에서 나온 연립정부에 대해 "우리 대통령제 하에서는 제도적으로 성립될 수 없는 개념"이라고 밝혔다.
권 원내대표는 "정확하게 표현을 하면 인재영입, 인재 풀을 공용으로 하겠다는건데 안철수 대표가 생각하는 혁신적 변화에 그런 수요는 당연히 있지만 기존 정치인에 대한 인재 영입은 아무래도 제한적일 수 밖에 없다"라며 "공동정부론은 제도적으로도, 현실적으로도, 또 안철수 정부가 추구하는 방향과도 맞지 않는 상황"이라고 지적했다.
그는 또한 야권 단일화와 관련해서도 "안 후보와 국민의당이 오랫동안 준비해온 건 안철수 후보의 완주"라며 "지난 서울시장 재보궐 선거 이후 합당 논의를 거치면서 국민의힘이 추구하는 정치로는 국민들이 원하는 정권교체를 안겨드릴수가 없겠구나라는 판단을 했다"고 설명했다.
안 후보가 윤석열 후보와 만날 수도 있다는 여운있는 발언을 한데 대해선 "철천지원수도 아닌데 만나서 밥 한끼 못할 이유는 없지 않나"라면서도 "그렇지만 지금은 의미가 없어서 만나지 않는 상황이고 앞으로도 만날 가능성이 없다고 보면 된다"고 했다.
그러면서 "다만 토론회는 많이하면 할수록 좋다는 생각이다. (윤석열-이재명 후보는) 토론회를 많이 해봤자 서로 의혹에 대해 공방을 벌이기 때문에 정책 수요를 충족시키기에 부족할테고 안철수 후보는 그 부분에 대해 충분하게 충족시킬수 있도록 최대한 토론회가 많이 열렸으면 좋겠다"라고 덧붙였다.

Amid a sharp rise in the approval rating of the Ahn Cheol Soo People's Party leader in a recent poll on support for the next presidential candidate, the People's Party seems to be drawing a line on the unification of opposition parties.
Kwon Eun-hee, floor leader of the People's Party, said in the new morning of YTN Radio on the 10th, "It is a concept that cannot be systematically established under the Korean presidential system."
Representative Kwon pointed out, "To be precise, we will recruit talent and share a pool of talent, and of course, there is such demand for innovative changes that Ahn Cheol Soo thinks, but the recruitment of talent for existing politicians is limited."
Regarding the unification of opposition parties, he also said, "What candidate Ahn and the People's Party have been preparing for a long time is the completion of Ahn Cheol Soo," adding, "After the by-election, we decided that the politics pursued by the people cannot bring about the change of government."
Regarding Ahn's remarks to the effect that he may meet with Yoon Seok-yeol, he said, "There is no reason not to meet and have a meal even though he is not an Cheolcheon supporter," adding, "But now we are not meeting because it is meaningless and we have no chance of meeting in the future."
"However, the more discussions we have, the better it is. He added that (Yoon Seok-yeol and Lee Jae-myung) having a lot of debates will not be enough to meet policy demands because they will fight each other over suspicions, and Ahn Cheol Soo will have as many debates as possible to meet that part."
