[브레이크뉴스=주윤한기자] 경남 거창군은 경상남도가 지난달 31일 발표한 ‘2021년 경상남도 사회조사 결과’에서 지역민으로서의 자부심이 경남도내에서 가장 높은 것으로 조사됐다고 19일 밝혔다.
이번 사회조사는 2021년 8월 27일부터 9월 15일까지 도내 표본 15,000가구의 만 15세 이상 가구원을 대상했다.
사회조사는 주거·교통, 문화·여가, 일자리·노동 등 7개 분야 43개의 공통항목과 시·군의 특성을 반영 할 수 있는 항목 110개를 추가하여 총 153개 항목으로 나눠 실시됐다.
조사결과 거창군은 지역민으로서의 자부심 항목에서 자랑스럽다고 답변한 비율이 79.7%로 도내 1위를 차지했다.
또 소속감은 74.9%로 도내 4위, 향후 1∼2년 이후의 살기 좋게 될 것이라는 답변이 63.1%로 도내 3위를 차지하여 지역사회에 대한 긍정적인 지표에서 상위권을 차지했다.
삶에 대한 만족감을 묻는 항목인 ‘최근 자신의 삶’, ‘전반적인 생활’, ‘어제 행복’에서도 전년도에 10점 만점에 5점대이었던 것이 올해는 모두 6점대로 상승하여 도내 3위를 차지하는 등 만족감 부문에서도 개선된 것으로 조사됐다.
그 밖에도 경남 내 보육환경(어린이집, 유치원 등) 부문 2위, 공교육 환경(시설, 교육내용 등) 부문 4위를 차지하여 명품교육도시라는 명성에 걸맞은 결과를 보여줬다.
구인모 거창군수는 “이번 사회조사 결과는 군의 각종 정책수립에 활용할 계획이며 군민들의 삶의 질 향상을 위한 다양한 시책을 발굴하여 추진할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
