[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 민주당 경남대전환 선대위는 24일 오전 송영길 당대표, 김정호 위원장, 민홍철?공민배 명예선대위원장, 양문석 총괄선대본부장 등 선대위 관계자 60여 명이 참석한 가운데 창원컨벤션센터에서 전체회의를 열었다.
이날 회의는 대선을 40여일 남겨둔 가운데 경남선대위의 활동상황을 공유하고 선거전략과 향후 계획을 논의하기 위해 마련됐다.
송영길 당대표는 인사말을 통해 “부울경 50%, 대구?경북 40%, ‘4050플랜’을 제시하면서 동남권 전 지역을 돌며 간담회를 진행하고 있다. 경남은 19개 자치단체 중에 도지사와 창원시장을 포함해 8명이 당선됐고, 전체 58명의 광역의원 중에 34명의 도의원이 민주당으로 당선됐다. 1990년 3당 야합 후 30년에 걸친 각고의 노력 끝에 드디어 지방자치단체에서 교두보가 만들어졌다. 이번 대선에서 승리해야 뿌리를 내일 수 있다. 따라서 이번 선거는 지방선거를 위해서도 절대 이겨야한다”고 강조했다.
