[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 창원시는 24일 오후 2시 제3회의실에서 소재·부품·장비 산업 경쟁력 강화를 위해 기술 고도화에 필요한 고급인재 육성사업을 도모하고자 산·학·연·관 업무협약을 체결했다.
참석자는 허성무 창원시장, 김이환 UST(과학기술연합대학원대학교) 총장, 명성호 한국전기연구원장, 이정환 한국재료연구원장, 구자천 창원상공회의소 회장, 백정한 창원산업진흥원장이다.
이번 협약체결은 고급 기술인력의 수도권 유출로 지역 산업계에 소재·부품·장비 전문인력난 및 기업 경쟁력 저하가 우려되고 있는 상황에서 창원시가 적극적인 대책을 들고나온 것이다. 기업이 원하는 R&D 고급 기술인력을 국책 연구기관의 인프라를 활용해 공급해 줌으로써 소부장 산업의 활성화를 꾀하는 동시에 양질의 청년 일자리 창출에도 큰 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.
