[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 경남도에서는 2022년 ‘청년공동체 활성화 사업’ 참여자를 26일부터 2월 21일까지 공개 모집한다고 밝혔다.
‘청년 공동체 활성화 사업’은 지역에서 활동할 청년공동체를 발굴하고, 청년들 스스로 지역 자원과 연계하여 청년들이 지역에서 안정적으로 정착할 수 있는 다양한 사업들을 추진할 수 있도록 지원하는 사업이다.
신청 자격은 19~34세 청년으로 구성된 5인 이상 법인 또는 단체이며, 청년 공동체 구성원의 70% 이상이 반드시 경남도에 거주하는 청년으로 구성되어야 한다.
경남도에서는 향후 심사위원회를 통하여 사업 참여 역량, 지역활동 계획 등을 심사하여, 우수한 10개의 청년공동체를 3월 중 최종 선정할 계획이다.
최종 선발된 10개 공동체는, 각 팀당 8백만 원을 지원받아 청년들의 지역활동 기반을 마련하고 지역 활성화를 위한 다양한 사업들을 자체 계획을 수립하여 추진해 나갈 계획이다.
김상원 경남도 청년정책추진단장은 “‘청년공동체 활성화 사업’은 청년들이 스스로 청년들의 지역 정착을 유도하고, 지역의 다양한 문제들을 해결할 방법을 찾아본다는 부분에서 큰 의미가 있다”며. “청년들이 안정적으로 지역에 정착하고, 지역 활력을 높여 나갈 수 있도록 청년공동체 활성화 사업을 비롯한 다양한 사업들을 발굴하여 적극적으로 지원해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
