브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 조원진 우리공화당 대선후보는 27일 공공기관 대개혁 공약을 발표했다.
조 후보는 이날 보도자료를 통해 "문재인 정권의 탈원전, 비정규직 제로, 소득주도 성장 등 잘못된 정책을 무리하게 추진하면서 공공기관의 부채가 급격히 증가해 영업이익으로 이자비용도 내지 못하는 좀비 공공기관이 급증하고 있다"면서 "급격히 증가하는 공공기관의 경영부채는 결국 국민혈세를 투입할 수 밖에 없고 공공요금을 인상하는 등 피해는 고스란히 국민들에게 돌아간다"고 밝혔다.
그는 "지금까지 공공기관은 문재인 캠프 출신의 낙하산들이 전문성도 없이 잘못된 정권의 정책을 따라하기에 바빴다. 노조의 눈치만 보기에 바빴고, 제식구 감싸기에 바빴다"면서 "공공기관 대개혁을 위해 과감히 경영전문가를 투입하고 낙하산을 일절 금지하겠다"고 약속했다.
이어 그는 "박근혜 정부에서 공공기관의 과도한 복리후생 제도를 대폭 정비했지만 문재인 정권 들어 공공기관은 국민 눈높이에는 맞지 않을 정도로 ‘신의 직장’으로 군림하고 있다"며 "과감히 복리후생제도를 국민 눈높이 수준으로 맞추고 성과중심의 보수인력운영체계를 재구축하는 성과급 제도를 부활하겠다"고 강조했다.
조 후보는 또한 "최근 한수원의 사태를 보듯이 정권 초기에는 탈원전 정책을 교과서처럼 따라하다가 정권 말기에는 오락가락하면서 결국 피해는 고스란히 국민이 입고 있다"며 "임직원 책임제도를 정착해 잘못된 정책에 대해서는 반드시 책임을 묻겠다"고 공약했다.
그는 아울러 "낙하산 금지 등 공공기관 경영정상화를 혁명적 수준으로 추진하는 것은 민노총에 굽신거리는 이재명 후보나 윤석열 후보는 불가능한 일이다. 공공기관의 부채를 줄이고 공공기관의 생산성과 효율성을 혁신적으로 높여서 국민의 부담을 과감하게 줄일 것"이라며 지지를 호소했다.
