서울 영등포 경찰서(서장 총경 정성일) 외사계(계장 경감 오기룡)는 지난 1월 24일부터 28일까지 대림중앙시장 등 외사안전구역을 중심으로 특별치안활동을 했다.
이번 특별치안활동은 외사계, 강력팀, 교통안전계, 대림지구대, 대림3파출소 및 외국인자율방범대와 합동으로 매일 저녁 7시부터 10시까지 특별순찰 활동을 진행했다.
오기룡 외사계장은 '외사안전구역 내 강,폭력 범죄에 대하여 선제 대응을 위해 특별치안활동을 실시하게 되었으며, 대림중앙시장 입구 등 4개소에 플랜카드도 설치하였다'면서 '세밑 관내 주민들의 안전과 치안불안 요소 해소를 위해 계속 노력해 나가겠다'고 말했다.
