허성무 창원시장, 설 명절 도계부부시장 방문

[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 창원시는 28일 오후 4시 설 명절을 앞두고 민생현장 탐방을 위해 도계부부시장을 방문했다.

의창구의 대표 전통시장 중 하나인 도계부부시장은 2007년 5월 110여개의 점포가 모여 상인회를 결성하고 전통시장으로 등록했다. 이후 2010년 제1차 아케이드 설치 공사, 2012년 제2차 아케이드 설치 공사 등을 거치면서 현대화된 시장의 면모를 갖추기 시작했다.

이후 2017년 골목형시장 육성사업을 통해 도계시장 사거리에서 권재도 목사에 의해 시작된 부부의 날을 기리기 위해 ‘도계부부시장’으로 시장명칭을 바꿨다.
