브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 조원진 우리공화당 대선후보는 14일 "박근혜 정부의 고강도 경제 개혁을 이어가는 국민세금 줄이기 3대 개혁을 추진하겠다"고 밝혔다.
조원진 후보는 이날 보도자료를 통해 "고령화시대를 맞아 미래세대의 부담은 늘어나는데 지금의 여야후보들은 포퓰리즘 정책으로 국민을 현혹하고 있다. 여야후보의 공약대로 한다면 국가채무는 늘어나고 국민의 세금은 늘어날 수 밖에 없다"며 이같이 말했다.
조 후보는 3대 개혁으로 ▲공기업 등 강력한 공공개혁 ▲원전산업 육성 등 획기적 산업개혁 ▲포퓰리즘을 차단하는 국가건전재정 개혁을 뽑았다.
그는 "문재인 정권에서 공기업은 정권의 시녀가 되어 정책의 판단 능력마저 잃어버렸고 그야말로 신의 직장으로 더욱 진화했다"며 "비정상적인 경영행태를 국민의 눈높이에 맞게 과감한 공공기관 개혁을 추진하겠다"고 강조했다.
이어 "문재인 정권의 대표적인 산업파괴정책인 탈원전으로 인해 원전산업이 크게 무너졌고 산업생태계도 붕괴되는 상황을 초래했다"면서 "원전산업 등 에너지산업, 인공지능 등 차세대 기술산업, 생명산업 육성 등 산업개혁에 박차를 가하겠다"고 약속했다.
조원진 후보는 또 "문재인 정권 5년 동안 국민의 세금과 국가부채는 늘었는데 여야 후보들이 국가의 곳간을 거덜내려고 포퓰리즘을 남발하고 있다"며 "국가건전재정법을 제정하는 등 국가 건전재정 개혁을 반드시 하겠다. 포퓰리즘으로 국민의 세금을 늘리는 것을 국가범죄로 규정하고 반드시 막을 것"이라고 말했다.
