브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 충북을 방문 중인 조원진 우리공화당 대선후보는 21일 "도덕적으로 하자투성이 후보, 오만방자한 후보를 반드시 심판해야 대한민국 정치가 바로 선다. 몸이 부서지는 한이 있더라도 쓰레기 정치를 반드시 막겠다"고 밝혔다.
조원진 후보는 이날 오전 충북 청주 사창사거리 앞 유세에서 "지금 대한민국은 최악의 대통령 후보를 선출한 더불어민주당과 국민의힘의 오만으로 국민들이 선택권을 잃어버렸다"며 이같이 말했다.
조 후보는 "지금 이재명 후보와 윤석열 후보에게 제기되고 있는 온갖 의혹들은 일반 국민의 도덕성에도 한참 미치지 못하는 형편없는 수준으로 정말 부끄럽다"면서 "우리 미래세대에게 꿈과 희망을 주기 위해서라도 이번 대선에서는 용기있고 정의롭고 진실한 조원진을 꼭 선택해 달라"고 말했다.
이어 그는 "의리란 사람으로서 마땅히 지켜야 할 도리인데, 언제부터인가 정치권에 배신자만 득실거리고 쓰레기만 가득찼다"면서 "의리의 정치인, 정의의 정치인 조원진이 배신을 밥먹듯 하는 정치인들은 반드시 실패한다는 역사적 교훈을 남기겠다"고 강조했다.
조원진 후보는 또한 윤석열 후보에 대해 "문재인 대통령 입장에선 배신자이고 자유우파의 입장에서는 일제시대 포악한 순사에 불과하다"고 지적했고, 이재명 후보에 대해서는 “성남시민과 경기도민을 배신했기 때문에 더더욱 문제가 심각하다. 국민을 배신해 자기 배를 채웠다는 의혹을 받고 있는 아내에 대해 진심으로 사과하는게 도리"라고 비판했다.
