브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 이재명 더불어민주당 대선후보는 21일 코로나19 피해 회복과 관련 "당선 직후 제1호 지시사항으로 ‘코로나피해 긴급구제 특별위원회’를 설치해 속도감 있게 추진하고, 국민 여러분의 일상을 온전하게 회복시켜드리겠다"고 밝혔다.
이 후보는 이날 여의도 당사에서 가진 '코로나 피해 극복과 대응 방안 관련 기자회견'에서 "3월 10일 이후 대한민국의 코로나 대응은 확실하게 바뀔 것이다. 대통령직 인수위원회가 곧 긴급구제 특위가 될 것"이라며 이같이 말했다.
그는 "집합금지와 영업시간 제한 개선방안을 3월 10일 이후 최대한 빠르게 제시하고, 신용회복 준비와 피해지원 사각지대 해소에 주력하겠다"며 "코로나19로 생긴 불량부채는 정부가 인수해 채무조정과 탕감을 실시하겠다. 코로나로 인한 신용불량을 전면 원상복구하는 신용대사면을 실시하겠다"고 했다.
이어 그는 코로나19 피해지원을 위한 추가경정예산(추경)과 관련서도 "부족하더라도 급한 불부터 꺼야 한다. 양동이 크기를 따질 때가 아니다. 민주당은 오늘 추경을 통과시키고 이번주 내로 신속히 지원하겠다"며 "추경에서 부족한 부분은 선거 이후 경제 부스터샷으로 대거 보완하겠다"고 약속했다.
그는 또 "코로나19로 생긴 불량 부채는 정부가 인수해 채무 조정과 탕감을 하고, 코로나19로 인한 신용불량은 전면적으로 원상 복구하는 신용 대사면을 실시하겠다"고 공약했다.
이 후보는 아울러 "8인, 10인으로 집합 인원을 늘릴 수 없다면 3차 접종자만이라도 더 머물 수 있도록 완화해야 한다. 3차 접종자에 한해서라도 거리두기 제한을 밤 12시까지 완화해줄 것을 요청한다"며 "내가 당선된다면 3월 10일부터 바로 거리두기를 완화시킬 것"이라고 말했다.
이재명 후보는 당선인 신분으로서 결정 권한이 없다는 지적에는 "이론적으로야 취임 전에는 공식 권한이 없는 것이지만 실제로 당선되고 나면 당선자의 요청을 (정부가) 거부하거나 다른 길로 가는 경우는 거의 없었다"면서 "현직 대통령과 협의해 필요한 조지를 당선자나 차기정부의 책임으로 얼마든 시행할 수 있다"고 강조했다.
