브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 이재명 더불어민주당 대선 후보는 전날 21일 열린 대선후보 TV토론 관련, 윤석열 국민의힘 후보에 대해 "벽에다 대고 이야기하는 느낌이었다"고 평가했다.
이재명 후보는 22일 오전 KBS 라디오 '최경영의 최강시사'에서 "토론이란 게 내 주장을 하고 상대방 의견을 듣고 반박하는 게 기본인데 대답을 안 하거나 나중에 하겠다고 미룬다든지 저에게 한참 이야기하다 다른 사람에게 의견을 묻는다든지 하는 것이 납득이 안 됐다"며 이같이 밝혔다.
그는 "시간도 안 지키고, 기본적 룰도 안 지키니 저로서는 좀 당황스러웠다"면서 "너무 무질서했다"고 비판했다.
이 후보는 이어 심상정 정의당 후보에 대해선 "우리 민주당에는 지나치게 가혹하고 국민의힘에는 지나치게 관대하더라"라고 했다.
그는 심 후보와 토지이익배당(국토보유세) 명칭을 두고 설전을 벌인데 대해선 "심 후보가 증세가 정의라는 좌파적 관념을 많이 가져서 그렇다"며 "새 제도로 봐야지, 세금을 걷는다는 국민의힘의 공격에 동조하시는 것이 이해되지 않는다"고 말했다.
또한 심 후보와 지역화폐로 소상공인·자영업자 지원안을 놓고 논쟁한 것과 관련해선 "현금만 주는 걸 지원이라고 생각해 매우 놀라웠다. 지원은 매출을 늘려주고 경제를 활성화하는 게 훨씬 중요하다"며 "경제가 흐름이라는 걸 이해하지 않고 계신 것 같다"고 지적했다.
이 후보는 안철수 국민의당 후보가 다당제를 지지한다고 한데 대해선 "정권교체를 넘어선 정치교체, 시대교체를 말씀드리던 것과 일치하는 면이 있었다"면서 "저희는 거대 의석을 가지고 있기 때문에 정치개혁은 합의가 되면 언제든 할 수 있다"고 공감을 표했다. 하지만 "특정 후보에 대해 그렇게 말씀드리는 건 아니다. 단일화 제안을 했다고 해석되는 조금 부담스럽다"고 선을 그었다.
안철수 후보와의 단일화 가능성을 묻는 질문엔 "안 후보가 한때 제가 대표로 모시던 분이기 때문에 나름대로 존경하는 분이고, 그 분이 가진 새 정치라는 꿈이 있지 않느냐"며 "정치 개편, 정권 교체를 넘어선 정치 교체, 시대 교체는 평소 제가 드리던 말씀과 일치하는 면들이 있다"고 말했다.
이재명 후보는 배우자 김혜경 씨의 법인카드 유용 의혹에 대해서는 "제 아내가 법인카드를 쓴 것도 아니고, 직원들이 법인카드 사용에 절차상 문제가 있었다는 것"이라며 "어쨌든 아내가 공직자를 사적인 일에 도움받은 건 사실이니까 그것은 잘못"이라고 했다.
그러면서 "마치 제 아내가 법인카드를 쓴 것처럼 하는 건 좀 과하기는 하지만 그런 논란을 야기하는 것조차도 저의 불찰이고 관리 부실이기 때문에 다시 한 번 사과드린다. 그런 의혹조차 생기지 않도록 철저히 하겠다"고 덧붙였다.
