브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 조원진 우리공화당 대통령 후보는 22일 "윤석열 국민의힘 후보가 얼마나 안철수 국민의당 후보에게 모멸감을 줬으면 야권 단일화 결렬을 선언했을까 이해가 된다. 우리공화당이 그동안 수차례 윤석열 후보에게 보수야권단일화를 제안했지만 대꾸 한마디 하지 않았던 기억이 떠오른다"고 비판했다.
대전과 세종 유세를 하며 이틀째 충청권 표심 다지기에 나선 조원진 후보는 22일 오전 10시 대전 유성온천역네거리 유세에서 "5년간 거리에서 문재인 정권과 싸운 자유우파 정당인 우리공화당의 피와 땀을 무시하고 오만한 행태를 보이고 있는 윤석열 후보는 갈수록 기고만장해지고 있다"며 이같이 밝혔다.
그는 전날 열린 대선 TV토론에 대해 "이번 대선은 역사상 최악의 후보들이 나와서 국민을 우롱하고 있다. 어제 저녁 이재명 후보와 윤석열 후보의 토론을 보면서 참으로 부끄러웠다"면서 "문재인 정권 5년이 망친 대한민국을 이들이 더 망가트릴 것이다. 정직하지도 용기있지도 않다. 진심이 없다"고 지적했다.

조원진 후보는 또한 "이재명 후보는 국민통합을 이야기하는데 그동안 해왔던 잔인한 말들을 되씹어보기 바란다"며 "국민통합은 정직하고 용기있는 조원진만이 진정한 국민통합을 할 수 있다"고 주장했다.
