충남도가 상하수도 시설 확충을 위해 올해 4506억 투입된다.
도는 22일 도청 대회의실에서 ‘2022년 상하수도 관계관 회의’를 갖고 올해 추진 계획을 밝혔다.
계획을 보면 상수도 분야에서는 지속적인 지방상수도 확대를 위한 △농어촌 생활용수 개발 △소규모 수도시설 △도서지역 식수원 개발 등 3개 분야에 975억 원을 투입한다.
정수장 등 수도시설 수질 개선, 유수율 제고, 정보통신기술(ICT)을 접목한 지방상수도 사업 경영 개선을 위한 △노후정수장 정비 △지방상수도 현대화 사업 △스마트관망 기반 구축 등 6개 분야에는 932억 원을 투자한다.
정수장 위생관리 개선에는 23억 원, 수용가 옥내 배관 세척 사업에는 14억 원을 투자해 정수장부터 가정까지 안전하고 깨끗한 물을 공급하고 도민의 물 복지를 증진할 계획이다.
하수도 분야에서는 적정한 하수처리로 공공수역의 수질을 보전하고 주민 보건을 증진하기 위한 △하수관로 정비 △공공하수처리시설 확충 등 10개 분야에 2562억 원을 투입한다.
노후 상수관로·하수관로를 정밀 조사해 그 결과를 토대로 노후관 정비도 추진된다.
이와 함께 도는 앞으로 분기별 집행 실태를 점검하고, 지구 간 사업비 조정 등으로 신속 집행 및 이월 사업비 최소화를 추진할 방침이다.
이날 회의에선 도와 서부권 7개 시군, 한국수자원공사, 충남연구원이 참여한 가운데, ‘서부권 수도 통합 추진 회의’를 열고 서부권 수도 통합 추진 일정과 시군 및 기관의 의견도 수렴했다.
도 관계자는 “그동안 상하수도 분야에 집중 투자해 매년 도내 상하수도 보급률을 높여 왔다”라면서 “도는 내년까지 상하수도 보급률 전국 중위권 달성을 목표로 상하수도 분야에 지속 투자할 것”이라고 말했다.
