창원시, 합성1지구 현장지원센터 개소식 가져

[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 창원시는 28일 오후 2시 지난해 국토부에서 주관한 2021년 10월 2차 도시재생 뉴딜사업 공모에 최종 선정된 마산회원구 합성1동 도시재생 뉴딜사업 추진을 위해 ‘도시재생 현장지원센터’ 개소식을 개최했다.

‘Link 人 합성’은 걷거나 자전거를 타고 15분 안에 닿을 수 있는 거리에 교육, 돌봄, 먹거리, 문화 등 삶에 필요한 모든 것을 합성으로 연결한다는 의미를 담고 있다. 도시재생사업비 122억 원과 타부처 연계사업 등을 포함해 총 189억 원이 투입돼 올해부터 시작해 2025년까지 4년간 진행되는 사업이다.

합성1지구 도시재생현장지원센터는 이번 개소식을 시작으로 도시재생 관련 교육 및 홍보, 주민공모사업 등 프로그램을 추진하고 행정기관과 주민 간 가교역할을 할 예정이다.

정혜란 제2부시장은 “마산 구도심의 쇠퇴한 도심지에 활력을 불어넣을 수 있는 합성1지구 도시재생 뉴딜사업을 성공적으로 추진하고, 주민과 함께 지역의 유?무형 자산을 활용한 특색있는 도시재생 기반 구축을 위해 앞으로 더욱더 최선의 노력을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
