충청남도의회 기획경제위원회 이공휘 의원(천안4·더불어민주당)은 14일 보도자료를 통해 코로나19로 인해 어려움을 겪는 소상공인 등의 피해 회복과 자생력 강화, 지역경제 활력을 위해 ‘충남형 긴급재난지원금’과 더불어 코로나19 위기극복을 위한 소망대출이 확대 지원될 예정이라고 밝혔다.
이번에 확정된 657억원 규모의 ‘충남형 긴급재난지원금’은 도내 소상공인과 고용취약계층 16만 7천여명에게 지원되며, 이달 21일부터 4월 8일까지 각 시·군별로 지정된 장소에서 방문접수한다.
또 코로나19 장기화로 폐업 위기에 직면한 소상공인의 자금 유동성 위기를 해소하기 위해 도를 비롯해 국민은행, 농협은행, 하나은행, 신한은행 등 4개 금융기관 동참해 약 1,000억원 규모의 ‘코로나19 위기극복을 위한 소망대출’도 신규 지원될 예정이다.
이 의원은 “사회적거리두기가 약화됐음에도 3월 14일 0시 기준 도내 코로나 확진자는 21만 5천명을 넘어섰다”며 “코로나19의 매서운 확산세로 경제 활동이 위축되어 도내 소상공인과 고용취약계층의 어려움이 더욱 가중된 만큼 이들에 대한 지원이 절실한 상황”이라고 말했다.
그러면서 “이번 지원금과 특례보증에 따른 소망대출 확대가 오랜 가뭄 끝에 내리는 단비가 되어 경제적 어려움으로 말라버린 도민 여러분의 가슴을 촉촉이 적셔주길 기대한다”라고 했다.
