도서출판 북그루는 백희영 작가(박사)의 ‘미추학(美秋學)개론, 미술의 이론과 실제’을 4월15일에 출간된다고 16일 밝혔다. 백희영 작가는 이미 한국과 일본에서 명성이 널리 알려진 작가이다.
인간은 본능적으로 행복을 추구한다. 언어로 자신을 표현하는 것은 더러 어렵지만 미술과 서예를 통해서 자신을 표현하는 것은 비교적 쉬운 것으로 알려져 있다. 인간의 정서를 표현하는데 미술과 서예는 아주 유용한 도구로 활용하고 있다.
따라서 백희영 작가의 미추주의(美秋主意)는 미술과 추사 김정희의 추사체를 합친 표현기법이다. 미추주의(美秋主意)는 인간이 가지고 있는 미술적인 잠재능력을 키워 미술과 서예의 다양한 표현방법을 적용하여 자신에 대한 표현을 쉽고 재미있게 해줄 뿐만이 아니라, 자연스럽게 미술표현 활동을 하면서 작품에 나타난 형태력, 채색력, 상상력 등의 기능을 향상시키고, 자존감·창의력·인간성·사회성과 같은 정서 능력을 높여주는 미술활동 프로그램이다.
그는 미추주의(美秋主意)를 통해 인간은 작품에 자신의 생각을 자연스럽게 표현할 수 있도록 유도할 수 있고, 인간은 작품을 통해서 자신이 가진 미추와 정서를 표현함으로써 자신의 생각이나 느낌을 타인에게 전달하고 그러한 전달을 통해서 사회 속에서의 자신의 존재 위치를 확보하고 사회의 한 구성원으로서 자신을 주장할 수 있다.
이 책 ‘미추학(美秋學)개론, 미술의 이론과 실제’, 1장에서 ‘미술의 이해’에 대한 이해를 높이기 위한 내용이 담겼다. 2장에서 ‘미술의 역사’와 3장에서는 ‘미술의 표현방법’을 보여주고, 4장에서 ‘대표적인 미술가’이다. 5장에서 ‘서예와 이해’, 6장에서 ‘서예와 글자체’, 7장에서 ‘명필’, 8장에서 ‘미추학의 효과’와 9장에서 ‘발달 단계별 미술지도 프로그램’ 및 10장에서는 ‘미추 지도자의 역할’에 관해 보다 더 쉽게 접할 수 있도록 하였다.
이 책 미추학(美秋學)개론에 한 발자국 더 다가가고자 하는 모든사람들을 위한, 친절한 안내서가 되기를 희망하는 바이다.
