[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 창원시는 18일 오후 창원시립마산박물관에서 ‘스마트 창원시립마산박물관 구축사업’ 시연회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
시연회는 정혜란 창원시 제2부시장, 창원시립박물관 운영자문위원장인 장문석 마산문화원장, 교방초등학교 양재욱 교장과 학생 등 30여명이 참석했다. 지난해 2월 문체부 공모사업으로 선정된 ‘스마트 창원시립마산박물관 구축사업’에 대한 최종 성과물을 직접 체험해보는 시간을 가졌다.
마산박물관 인근에 있는 교방초등학교 학생들이 모바일 체험콘텐츠인 합포대작전 ‘사라진 보물선’을 체험했으며, 쉽게 접하기 어려웠던 지역의 역사와 문화를 증강현실(AR) 등 다양한 미션을 해결하면서 색다른 재미를 느낄 수 있었다며 즐거워했다.

정혜란 제2부시장은 “다양한 미션체험을 통해 관람객이 스토리를 이끌어 가는 주인공이 되어 박물관 전시 유물과 소통할 수 있다”며 “앞으로 마산박물관이 4차 산업혁명시대를 선도하는 최신 기술이 적용된 새로운 체험공간으로서 지역 학생들이 많이 찾는 ‘디지털 놀이터’가 될 것”이라고 말하고 “3개월간의 시범운영을 통해 6월에 본격적으로 운영할 계획이다”며 “4차산업혁명시대에 관람객 수준에 부응하는 박물관으로 탈바꿈하여 많은 사람들이 즐겨찾는 새로운 명소가 조성될 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
