전국에서도 가장 빠르게 성장하고 가장 역동적으로 움직이는 젊은 김해, 평균 연령이 40세 안팎으로 경남에서 가장 젊은 김해는 최근들어 시민들의 기대에 부응하지 못하고 활력없는 도시로 변하고 있으며, 급기야 인구도 감소세를 보이고 있다.
