[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 경남에 소재한 항공우주기업 73개사에서는 ‘항공우주청의 서부경남 설치’를 촉구하는 건의문을 대통령직 인수위원회 등 14개 기관에 전달했다.
경남은 항공산업 생산 실적 점유율이 2020년 기준 68.1%, 우주산업 생산실적 점유율은 43.3%에 달하는 항공우주 산업의 중심지다.
이에 서부경남에 소재한 73개사 항공우주 제조 기업들이 모여, 윤석열 대통령 당선인의 공약인 ‘항공우주청’의 최적지가 서부경남임을 밝히며 공약 이행을 촉구한 것이다.
항공우주기업 73개사는 건의문에서 “우리나라가 선진 항공우주 국가로 발돋움하기 위해 정부 전담 조직인 ‘항공우주청’ 설립이 필요하다”고 강조했다.
