대전시의회 권중순 의장이 28일 비래서로 62번길 47(가양동) 혁신타운 조성부지에서 열린 대전사회적경제혁신타운 기공식에 참석했다.
기공식에는 권중순 의장을 비롯 허태정 대전시장, 대전시의회 민태권 부의장, 윤종명 운영위원장, 홍종원 행정자치위원장, 우승호 의원 및 사회적경제 관련 단체 대표 등 50여명이 참석했다.
기공식은 개회 및 국민의례, 참석내빈 소개, 사업경과보고, 기념사 및 축사, 소망나무 달기, 기공식 퍼포먼스(터치버튼) 및 기념촬영 순으로 이어졌다.
이 자리에서 권중순 의장은“대전에는 1,100 여 개의 사회적경제기업이 활동하고 있으며, 다양한 분야와 형태의 기업으로 성장하고 있다”며 “사회적경제기업의 지속적인 성장을 위해서는 성장단계별 종합적인 지원체계와 기업역량을 향상시키기 위한 인프라가 필요하다”고 강조했다.
이어 “대전 사회적경제기업의 컨트롤타워 역할을 수행할 대전사회적경제혁신타운을 통해 대전의 사회적경제가 한 단계 더 도약할 수 있기를 기대하며, 시회적경제에 대한 시민의 이해도 향상과 지속적인 발전을 위해 시의회차원에서도 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 말했다.
한편 사회적경제혁신타운은 동구 가양동 옛 충남보건환경연구원 부지에 지하 2층-지상 5층, 연면적 약 1만1041㎡ 규모로 내년 12월 완공될 예정이며, 사회적경제기업 입주지원 공간, 제품 연구개발실, 공동 작업실, 리빙랩실, 제품 전시판매장 등이 들어설 예정이다.
