고양시가 지난 29일 일산호수공원 한울광장에서 친환경 소형전기청소차 시연회를 열었다.
시연회는 관련 공무원과 청소용역 직원 등이 참여한 가운데 청소차 작동법과 안전관리, 실제 운행과 청소작업 시연 등을 진행했다.

이번에 도입한 청소차는 전기차 전용 충전기가 아닌 220V 일반 가정용 콘센트를 이용해 어디서든 손쉽게 충전할 수 있다. 1회 충전으로 6~8시간 연속작업이 가능해 연료비 절감 효과가 크다.
시는 소형전기청소차를 자전거 도로 및 보행로 경계석 측구, 각종 공개 광장 등에 투입함으로써 호수공원 청소인력 부족 문제가 해결될 것으로 기대하고 있다.
시 관계자는 “친환경 청소정책을 적극 펼쳐 공원을 방문하는 많은 시민에게 쾌적하고 깨끗한 공원 환경을 제공하겠다”며 “특례시 출범을 맞아 시민들이 만족하는 앞선 공원행정을 펼칠 것”이라고 말했다. 고양=박정호기자
