가포지구 해안둘레길 봄맞이 정비작업 현장 점검

[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 창원시는 봄철을 맞아 많은 시민들이 찾고 있는 가포수변공원과 가포지구 해안둘레길 정비작업 현장을 방문하여 전반적인 시설을 점검했다.

가포본동 친수공간은 2015년 조성하여 오토캠핑장과 수변공원으로 사용하다가 2020년 오토캠핑장 내 데크, 급수대를 철거하여 지금의 가포수변공원으로 사용하고 있으며 2017년 가포지구 해안둘레길을 조성했다.

가포수변공원과 해안둘레길은 주말에 가족단위로 방문하는 이용객들이 많으며 꽃이 피기 시작하는 봄철에는 주말뿐만 아니라 평일에도 많은 시민들이 찾고 있다. 가포수변공원(가포동 186-4번지)과 가포해안변공원(가포동 산 82)을 잇는 가포지구 해안둘레길은 우천시 땅이 질퍽거려 이용의 불편함이 있어 야자매트를 새로 설치할 계획이며 설치 전 해양친수시설 기간제노동자들은 산책로 지반작업과 바다풍경을 즐길 수 있도록 해안변 수목정비작업을 실시했다.
